Jeff Wells is the most amazing realtor we have ever had the pleasure to work with. In 2014, we were looking to by a home in the Hanover area and Jeff was recommended to us by a friend. When we found the house we wanted to purchase, he asked us how badly we wanted it. We told him we would be very disappointed if we didn't get the home, so he proceeded to write the contract in such a way to better our chances. Needless to say, he was sucessful! We promised him then and there that when it was gone for us to sell, we would be calling on his services again. After our purchase, Jeff continued to stayed in contact and would sometimes come to visit when he was in the areaFast-forward 7 years. Our kids were set to graduate college in the next year, so we started tossing around the idea of down-sizing. True to our word, we called Jeff. He came over so we could discuss all the projects we had done since we purchased the home and the ones that were still planned. He did a comprehensive walk-through with us, making recommendations on things we should focus on to get the best resale price on the home. It took us a year to finish his recommendations, but it was a year well-spent. When we were ready, Jeff spent many evenings with us to get the contract perfect. Because of the finicky housing market, Jeff recommended we get an independent appraisal to determine a fair listing price. He then strategically scheduled showings and an open-house, always being considerate of our remote working situation. Within three weeks we received an offer that was $80k over the asking priceDuring both the purchase and the sale of our home, Jeff has been there every step of the way. Even after the sale of the home, Jeff continues to stay in touch. We are now traveling the country in a motorhome, but if we come back to York county for retirement, I'll bet you can guess who we will call on once again!

The market is really hot right now so certainly anyone could sell a house, right? We contemplated doing for sale by owner, but couldn’t quite capture the attention of the market. That’s when we turned to Jeff for his expertise. He helped us price appropriately (higher than we even planned on), and market the right way. In less than a week we had multiple competing offers and were fully settled with cash in hand just a week later! I can’t even imagine how much money I would have missed out on if I didn’t use Jeff.
